Disney's popular trading card game, , releases special Enchanted rarity cards with each of its sets, beginning with 12 of these coveted cards in. When launched in the summer of 2023, the game had a rough start with distribution problems making it so getting any card for the game was a monumental task, much less the special Enchanted cards. It took several months, but the supply is now at a level where the game is fairly easy to find in stores, although the Enchanted cards are still elusive jewels.
Enchanted cards are 's most valuable, even though they don't offer any additional benefit in actual gameplay. In fact, bringing an Enchanted card to a table would likely cause more of an uproar by collectors desperate to keep the card in perfect condition. These beautiful cards feature alternate, borderless artwork with a special foil process. Similar to other TCGs, the Enchanted cards are secret rarities whose numbers go above the standard format for the set. has 204 numbered cards, with the Enchanted cards numbered above that.
The villain of Disney's graces the front of the Enchanted-rarity Hades: King of Olympus card, #205. Its market price, according to is the lowest of all Enchanted cards from, coming in at about $128. The artwork here is a striking portrayal of the God of the Undead, with Hades' left hand reaching into the foreground, while his wide smile bares sharp teeth.
's next highest market price for Enchanted cards is $139 for Genie: On the Job. Genie, voiced by the beloved Robin Williams in the original 1992 animated film, occupies the front of #209, snapping his fingers to apparently shrink a soldier with glee. The colorful swirls in the Enchanted foil pair well against the Emerald ink denotation for the card, making it a beautiful piece of art.
