The popular fantasy sandbox MMORPG, Albion Online, has officially entered its sixth anniversary. Developer Sandbox Interactive has chosen to commemorate the event with the return of last year’s Living Legacy event.
The company has released an Anniversary Retrospective of the past year to look back at where the game has been. It also goes over the various contests, expanded Twitch Drops and the ongoing vanity sale that will continue throughout the month.
The Albion Online Living Legacy has returned to commemorate the game’s sixth anniversary. With it, a myriad of celebratory events and rewards will be available for a limited time.
Running until maintenance on July 26 for Albion East and July 27 for Albion West, the Living Legacy event will add a host of new challenges, aesthetics and rewards for players.
Decorations will adorn every city in the game, and any character who logs into the game until the event ends will receive a special Sixth Anniversary Avatar and Avatar Ring. Additionally, the statues in the Conqueror’s Hall have also been brought back into the game’s open world for players to defeat and receive glorious loot.
All statues have three difficulties: Construct, Colossus and Titan, with Titan being the most difficult with the highest rewards. Some of the tradable rewards dropped by defeated statues include the Sixth-Year Stallion Skin, Anniversary Banner, Chromacannon – a Vanity Weapon Skin – and a consumable Anniversary Cake that gives players a Fame boost.
Finally, a special Twitch Drops campaign will run in the game from July 17 to July 24. It will run concurrently with the regular Twitch Drops campaign and have the same watch time requirements. The only difference is that it will feature new Exclusive
