If hand-drawn, side-scrolling adventure games are your jam, Afterlove EP is definitely one to keep an eye on. It comes from the makers of Coffee Talk, but instead of brewing beverages in a small café, this new title has you exploring Jakarta, Indonesia in an adventure about music and relationships.
The game is about a musician who's struggling with the loss of his girlfriend and coming to terms with who he is as a person. Initially spearheaded by the late designer Fahmi Hasni, who sadly passed away in 2022, the team at Pikselnesia is following through with the game in his honour.
Many of the locations in the game are based on real life places, and you'll explore them as you go through the story. As you can see, Afterlove EP has a pretty distinct visual style, with everything drawn by hand by artist Soyatu.
The game is «targeting» an October release on PS5 and PS4, so hopefully we'll get to experience this poignant adventure game later in the year. Are you looking forward to Afterlove EP? Let us know in the comments section below.

Looking forward to this. Coffee talk is awesome
Coffee talk was fun, so I'll check this out
Didn't realise their designer had passed away, tragic. The style of Coffee Talk really is beautiful, it's a very stylish game from the menus, to the backgrounds and the characters
I'm so glad this is finally getting released.
All props to the team.

Late creator?! Damn, I had no idea.
Being truthful, I didn’t find CT’s way of addressing domestic topics all that tasteful or tactful, but this is still tragic and I hope his loved ones find
