Over a week before the full release of the game, a user is streaming Star Wars Outlaws on the platform Kick.
The player, who has seemingly acquired a physical copy of the game early, has hosted several live streams playing through the game’s opening hours.
The streams are being hosted on the live-streaming platform Kick, which is known for its looser approach to copyright-infringing issues, and is far slower to respond to takedown requests than legacy platforms like YouTube or Twitch.
The account that has been streaming the game hasn’t been banned. Footage of the streams is now flooding social media, with a large amount of content being posted to TikTok.
The review embargo for the game lifts on Monday at 1 PM BST/5 AM PT. This is also when the Gold Edition of the game will be made available in New Zealand.
At that time, VGC will post our review, as well as a review roundtable for the game featuring several prominent reviewers giving their thoughts on the Star Wars open-world adventure.
Customers who pre-order Star Wars Outlaws will receive the Kessel Runner bonus pack, which includes cosmetics for protagonist Kay’s speeder and for her ship, the Trailblazer.
These will be available to season pass holders too, who’ll also receive an exclusive mission called Jabba’s Gambit at launch.
Story expansions for Star Wars Outlaws, which will be included in the season pass and be available to purchase separately too, will arrive this autumn/fall and in spring 2025.
