The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has birthed a great many supervillains onto the silver screen. These are captivating and disturbed characters that seek power, money, or even the genocide of half of all living things. Additionally, Marvel has gotten some grade A actors to portray many of these villains. One might even argue that the actors who portray these supervillains outdo their counterparts who don Avengers uniforms.
That is because actors such as Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Michael Keaton (the Vulture), and Josh Brolin (Thanos) have brought such poise and persona to these mischievous miscreants and murderers. Tom Hiddleston made Loki a charming and deceiving God of Mischief. Michael Keaton made a B-list Spider-Man villain into a both menacing and somewhat sympathetic supervillain. Josh Brolin brought a sense of impending doom and arrogance to his voice-acting role as the Mad Titan, Thanos.

Bill Murray is the most recent big-time actor Marvel has successfully pursued to portray a supervillain. The veteran actor, who is mostly known for his comedy chops, is set to portray a yet undisclosed supervillain in the upcoming 2023 film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Who could Bill Murray portray in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania? The possibilities explored in this article are a hodgepodge of goofy, relatively obscure supervillains that remain largely unknown to the general public.
This villain is relatively new in comics, having been created by Rick Remender back in 2012’s Secret Avengers. Black Ant has superhuman strength, agility, speed, and stamina. Like Ant-Man, he can also shrink or become gigantic, all the while retaining his physical abilities.
