Directed by Ilya Naishuller, Nobody features a soundtrack full of rock and roll hits and Americana classic songs. The premise for the 2021 action movie is relatively simple, as a family man seeks revenge on local baddies; however, the narrative hints at darker themes that could be explored in future franchise installments. The Nobody soundtrack captures the mundanities of everyday life, and the collective songs correlate with the protagonist's identity crisis.
Nobody stars Bob Odenkirk as Hutch Mansell, an auditor who used to work for a «three-letter» intelligence organization. At first, he seems like a passive individual who fails to act while two people rob his home, but the film ultimately reveals that he's a highly-methodical man, one with a history of violence. When «Nobody» sets off to find his daughter's missing bracelet, his life becomes entwined with that of a vicious Russian mob leader, Yulian Kuznetsov (Aleksei Serebryakov).
