As such a massive game, it’s no surprise that is bursting with all sorts of characters for the party to meet. However, not all of those characters are the nicest of people, leading to them gaining less than favorable reputations in the fan base. Although this is actually quite realistic, in a world of memorable NPCs, these characters have stuck in people’s memories for all the wrong reasons.

From the very first moments of the game right through to the end battle of there will be a host of characters for the party to meet, some of which they will like while others will rub them the wrong way. Surprisingly, not all the most disliked characters are villains, with some simply earning the ire of the fan base because of their bad attitudes. When it comes to the kind of characters that are the absolute worst, these are the best examples.
It’s no surprise that the lich queen of the githyanki is a thoroughly awful person, which is only made worse the more is learned about her throughout. Everything about Vlaakith, from her childish temper tantrums to her complete disregard for the actual well-being of the githyanki people, is sure to have people gnashing their teeth when she is encountered. While Vlaakith is most definitely evil, she also has a tenuous hold on her sanity, and it doesn’t take much to set her off, which can lead to an unexpected and instant death in .
Anyone who has played the adventure will be familiar with the cute and very helpful hollyphant Lulu, who will join the party. Unfortunately for the party, the hollyphant in is the exact opposite, as Investigator Valeria seems completely disinterested in actually doing her job and solving murders. This tiny sleuth would rather go drinking than properly solve cases, taking the easy option of blaming refugees.
