1 Man Of Steel 2 Villain Candidate Would Make Batman V. Superman Better
Henry Cavill's potential return as Superman could bring in a villainess whose presence could elevate Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice with her role. Henry Cavill's eagerness to continue as Superman is shared by fans of his portrayal of the Last Son of Krypton, while the WB-Discovery merger is reportedly keen to emphasize Superman's big-screen presence in contemporary media. With discussion emerging of Cavill possibly taking to the skies once more, there's one Superman antagonist who could be particularly fitting for Cavill's Superman, namely Leslie Ellis, a.k.a. Livewire.
Similar to Harley Quinn on Batman: The Animated Series, Livewire was introduced on Superman: The Animated Series and later worked into DC Comics and other Superman adaptations. In her origin story, Leslie Ellis was a Metropolis radio shock jock (voiced by Lori Petty) who frequently vented great disdain for Superman on her radio show, not unlike Kal-El's public grilling in Batman v Superman. During an accident at a concert, a bolt of lightning passed through Superman and reached a cable Ellis' foot was on, giving her electrical powers and leading her to adopt the villainous moniker Livewire. As a result, Livewire's character history makes her especially perfect for use alongside Cavill's Superman.
