Director Zack Snyder has once more taken to Vero to tease a DC announcement in late April of 2023.
This time, Snyder posted two different monochrome images — one of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and one of Ben Affleck’s Batman. The Batman picture features text that says “,” seemingly hinting at theatrical formats for his three DC movies and the dates of April 28, 29, and 30. The Wonder Woman photo features the following text:
“The journey of the hero is about leaving the familiar and entering the unknown. It’s about encountering challenges and overcoming them. And it’s about returning to the world of the familiar, but now transformed by the experience.”

Snyder’s last DC film was , which was released in 2021 — nearly four years after the initial release of . This version of the movie was a director’s cut by Snyder that featured additional characters not seen in the theatrical cut and had a run time of just over four hours. In late 2022, director James Gunn and producer Peter Safran were made Co-CEOs of DC Studios, prompting a wide reshuffle of DC’s television and film projects.
