Not only did the season finale conclude with the Legends getting arrested by the Time police, but a major DC hero made his Arrowverse debut. After major speculations following his mysterious casting announcement, Faison was officially revealed as Michael Jon Carter, a.k.a. Booster Gold. While the futuristic hero was someone The CW drama had tried to introduce for seasons, a Booster Gold film prevented it from happening until this year.
If Legends of Tomorrow season 8 gets greenlit by The CW, Faison will officially be a full-time cast member. While the time-traveling adventure awaits to learn if it'll be renewed or canceled, Faison's Booster Gold addition has inspired the fandom into wanting to see the show stage a major Scrubs reunion. One of Booster Gold's core relationships in the comics is with Ted Kord, better known as the second Blue Beetle. Now that the Arrowverse has Booster Gold, fans want to see Braff, who co-starred alongside Faison on Scrubs, get cast as the blue-techy superhero.
