The Baker family takes on suburban California in Disney's 2022 reboot of Cheaper By The Dozen. Like the 1950 and 2003 movies before it, the Disney+ version of Cheaper By The Dozen is about a couple trying their best to manage their very large family. This take on the classic story stars Gabrielle Union and Scrubs alum Zach Braff as Zoey and Paul Baker, a couple doing what it takes to raise a brood of 9 children. It's produced by Black-ish creator Kenya Barris and Shawn Levy, who directed the 2003 version starring Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt.

In the movie, Paul gets an opportunity to expand the restaurant into a franchise and bottle his special sauce to sell in stores, which gives the Bakers enough money to move to a McMansion in Calabasas and live out what Paul believes is a dream life. The couple deals with their overly involved exes while they juggle trying to expand their business and raise their massive family, all while the kids deal with bullies, discrimination, and monsters under the bed.
