Baseball fans are less than two weeks away from getting their hands on MLB The Show 22, which debuts on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox in April. The scheduled weekly update includes a new addition to the Legends roster, and the newest member is an iconic one.
Brian Wilson, who spent nine years in the MLB —seven with the Giants and two with the Los Angeles Dodgers— is the newest member of the MLB The Show 22 Legends squad. Retiring in 2015, Wilson played in 394 games, facing 1,649 batters and striking out 407 of them.

Known by fans as «The Beard,» Wilson is an exceptional addition to this year's roster. A three-time All-Star and 2010 World Series winner, he became an instant fan favorite with his ability to make saves in important games and strike out some of the best in the game. In the 2010 season, Wilson carried a Giants team with 48 saves and ended the season with a below-2 ERA, finishing seventh in Cy Young voting and 13th in MVP votes. In the same year, he appeared in three playoff games, striking out four batters and allowing only three hits, en route to the Giants World Series win. Wilson is the second pitcher in the last three announcements to be revealed, with New York Yankees Mike Mussina becoming a Legend two weeks prior.
