Many viewers were worried they would soon be getting another season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, so it was a relief to find out that 90 Day Fiancé season 9 would premiere the week after 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days concludes. Aside from returning cast members Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre, season 9 features entirely new couples from all sorts of different backgrounds, which will hopefully lead to entertaining content. 29-year-old Kara from Charlottesville, Virginia, and 23-year-old Guillermo from Venezuela are one of the couples, and the trailer for season 9 teases potential drama between them.

According to their bio on Entertainment Weekly, Guillermo comes from Venezuela, but he and Kara met in the Dominican Republic when he was living there; and Kara was in the country for work. The two quickly moved in together, and Guillermo proposed not long after.
