EA has confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was part of a new franchise, suggesting that a sequel was in the works, but fans have long believed it to be the case. It’s one of those situations where a sequel is not only appropriate but called for by fans. Fans can expect their first showcase of the game at the Star Wars Celebration taking place from May 26-May 29, according to known insider and reporter Jeff Grubb.
Star Wars: Who Was The First Jedi Knight?
Grubb’s information is reliable, though it’s always best to take any unconfirmed information with a grain of salt, and he recently commented on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2’s platforms. During the latest Last of the Nintendogs podcast, he was asked if Jedi: Fallen Order 2 would be next-gen only, and Grubb is «pretty sure» that it is. This means that Jedi: Fallen Order 2 will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X, not PS4 or Xbox One. While those still on that console generation may be disappointed when/if this is announced, it hopefully bodes well for the overall quality of the game. This choice doesn’t come as a surprise, either. The PS5 and Xbox Series X have nearly been out for a year and a half, with more and more games shifting toward current-gen only instead of cross-gen. Both platforms have had their fair share of good
