The Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise has seen a renewed presence in the world of video games over the last year with a mix of new games and major updates. The long-awaited Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel launched earlier this year to massive success with the online card game quickly amassing a large playerbase following its launch. Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links has also seen significant updates since last summer with the game adding Pendulum Summoning and an in-game world based on the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V anime. Now, Konami is gearing up for its next major launch with Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel.
The newest trailer for the upcoming mobile-exclusive Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel officially revealed its release date with narration from iconic Yu-Gi-Oh! antagonist Seto Kaiba. The teaser trailer confirmed Cross Duel's release is right around the corner with the four-player Yu-Gi-Oh! game launching on September 6th, 2022. Teaser shots of the game showed off special animations for each anime season's signature monsters like Dark Magician, Stardust Dragon, and Number 39: Utopia. Konami had previously opened pre-registrations for Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel last month.

Cross Duel features a tag team system with characters from throughout Yu-Gi-Oh's history, allowing players to pair up with Yugi Muto, Jaden Yuki, and Jack Atlas among others.
