Xbox has shared its plans for Gamescom 2023.
Gamescom will run from August 23-27. Gamescom Opening Night Live, the kick-off showcase hosted and produced by Geoff Keighley, will return on August 22.
The Xbox booth is “bigger than ever,” according to the company, and will feature over 30 titles across 150 stations. There will also be photo-ops, experiences, and a specially constructed 300-seat theatre.
Starfield and Forza Motorsport will feature in the show as part of “exclusive theatre presentations,” however, it seems that neither game will be playable at the show. Stalker 2, Payday 3, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, and Armored Core 6 will be playable, however.
To celebrate ten years of ID@Xbox, a section of Xbox’s booth will be dedicated to upcoming ID@Xbox titles such as Paradox’s Lamplighter’s League, Thunderful’s SteamWorld Build, and Amplifier’s Lightyear Frontier.
Xbox Fan Fest returns to Gamescom, which will see fans “join the After-Hours Booth event for early access to the Xbox Gamescom booth, connect with Team Xbox and fellow Xbox players, play FanFest Trivia, and more.” Players can enter for the chance to win tickets on the Xbox Fan Fest website.
