Cyberpunk 2077's next-gen upgrade might not be as far off as we thought as Xbox players are reporting that it now has a Series X/S symbol.
It seems like an upgrade is imminent, one that players can opt into with the Smart Delivery feature, but developer CD Projekt Red remains tight-lipped on the specifics of its release date.

With that being said, CD Projekt Red did tease that something would be announced today and that coincides with this new discovery - it could be gearing up to announce the next-gen upgrade for Cyberpunk 2077, although the two stories could be entirely unrelated. We'll find out shortly.
It's holding a Redstream today at 4 PM CET, and we're not entirely sure what will be discussed on the show aside from the fact it has something to do with Cyberpunk 2077. "We'll talk things, y'know," is about all we have to go off.
Last November, the next-gen upgrades for Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 were pushed back to "early 2022", a vague date, but we're in early 2022, so fans are twiddling their thumbs waiting. If these reports are anything to go by, we could even see The Witcher 3's own upgrade in tow.
The last update Cyberpunk 2077 got was back in January and since then, things have been pretty quiet - no word on the planned DLCs, next-gen upgrade, or fixes for many of the game's bugs, but perhaps that silence will be broken at long last today.
