The recent 1.5 update for Cyberpunk 2077 appears to contain the beginnings of a transmog system. Developer CD Projekt Red released this futuristic RPG in late 2020, but the game had a rocky start with numerous glitches and bugs, particularly on console versions. Shortly after the release of Cyberpunk 2077, Sony pulled it from the PlayStation Store following a flood of complaints from users. It has since been added back to the store after several updates and fixes. A little over a year later and it seems Cyberpunk 2077 is finally on the right path to becoming what players had hoped for.
Earlier this month, CDPR revealed its new-gen update with patch 1.5 for Cyberpunk 2077 on PC, Stadia, and consoles, delivering a host of improvements and new features to bring the game up to speed on PS5, Xbox Series X, and high-spec PCs. The patch list includes new weapons, additional apartments to purchase, a hairdressing mirror, and an overall re-balance of gameplay, economy, and loot systems. There are also several updates intended for the latest gaming hardware, like ray-traced local shadows, improved crowd reactions, and one in particular for the PS5, DualSense controller features. With dozens of features now added to Cyberpunk 2077, players are once again jumping back into Night City.
