The much-awaited and recently released 1.5 patch for Cyberpunk 2077 has finally added the Mantis Blade takedown that was previously cut from the game. When the gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077 was first unveiled back in 2018, it showed off a lot of amazing and innovative features that got a lot of people excited. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out in developer CD Projekt Red’s favor, and a lot of Cyberpunk 2077’s content was cut and wasn’t included in the game when it was released at the end of 2020.
Cyberpunk 2077 suffered from a disappointing launch, not only lacking a lot of the content that CDPR originally promised, but also suffering from technical problems, including bugs, glitches, and performance issues on previous generation consoles that made it almost unplayable. Cyberpunk 2077’s launch woes even led to a lawsuit from the studio’s investors that ended up with CD Projekt Red settling for a whopping $1.85 million. Since its launch, the studio has worked hard to not only fix the game’s issues but also to release the content and features that were meant to be included in the game. Just last week, CD Projekt Red finally released the game’s new-gen version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, which included Cyberpunk 2077’s 1.5 patch.
