Considering all the Sony movies that have been put out over the last few years that have to do with Marvel it certainly seems as if the company has something up its sleeve. In fact, it appears that the MCU has opened the door to help Sony do what it wants to do. It seems more than likely that the company is going to introduce Spider-Man into the Sony Marvel universe. It’s entirely possible that there might be enough cooperation between the two companies that someone like Tom Holland would eventually appear in one of those Spider-Man movies.
There have certainly been enough hints that there was going to be some kind of crossover. The most recent hint, however, seemed to also indicate that the crossover might not be coming anytime soon after all. People thought that The Vulture showing up in Morbius was the biggest hint of all. However, that turned out to be more of a misdirect than anything and so now, it would appear that if Spider-Man is going to appear in the Sony movie universe, then it’s going to be someone other than Tom Holland.

There are certainly enough choices out there for Sony to make a Spider-Man movie with someone other than Tom Holland. There are more than enough choices out there in fact that they could start an entirely different Spider-Man universe that could operate on its own from the MCU with no problem. In fact, the MCU handed at least two opportunities to start, or more accurately continue its own universe. Those two opportunities are none other than Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
