Clayton Echard from The Bachelor has finally picked his winner and it is Susie Evans. The former football player began his journey to find love while competing for Michelle Young on The Bachelorette. Clayton was sent home halfway through the season and immediately realized he was ready for a family. After months of speculation, Clayton was announced as The Bachelor, to the surprise of many. Nonetheless, both Clayton and ABC ensured fans they were in for a wild ride.
While Clayton's season had a slow start, the final episodes of The Bachelor season 26 did not disappoint on drama. During last Monday's episode, the 28-year-old revealed to Susie at the day portion of their fantasy suite date that he had slept with and professed his love for the other two final three women. Susie was in disbelief, even though Clayton tried to assure his feelings for her by promising her he loved her the most. Since this was a huge dealbreaker for her, Clayton sent Susie home. Nonetheless, everything worked out the way it was supposed to for Clayton and his final three women.

During The Bachelor season finale, Clayton was ready to get down on one knee and propose to Susie. Ultimately, she told him "no" during the final rose ceremony that she didn't feel like she was his "person." While Clayton understood why Susie didn't want to go through with an engagement, he asked her if she would consider continuing a relationship with him. Susie told him it was "over" and embraced him right before Clayton walked her out. The pair hugged one more time before Susie entered the limo, and Clayton wished her the best of luck.
