Pan star Levi Miller has joined the cast of the upcoming Sony-Marvel project Kraven the Hunter. Following the Venom franchise and the recent film debut of Morbius, Sony’s Spider-Man Universe is continuing to expand with the highly anticipated entrance of another notorious villain of the iconic web-slinger. Directed by J.C. Chandor, the live-action adaptation of Kraven the Hunter stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Kraven, alongside Christopher Abbott as the titular assassin known as the Foreigner and Russell Crowe in a mysterious role.
Now, according to Deadline, Miller is set to join the cast of Kraven the Hunter. Not only is he prominently recognized for his role as Peter Pan in Pan, but the Australian actor has previously starred in Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time in 2018. Recently, Miller appeared in the 2021 Arclight Films sports drama Streamline. Currently, Sony has yet to issue any comments regarding his casting and the details of his role remain unknown.

Miller is the latest actor to enter the fold of the growing cast ensemble for the upcoming film. The news of his casting arrives shortly after West Side Story’s Ariana DeBose was revealed to portray the voodoo priestess Calypso. Although further details have yet to be released, it begs the question as to whether Miller will also be portraying a Spider-Man opponent due to the bountiful line-up of villains for the anticipated film. For now, Kraven the Hunter is currently undergoing its early filming stages and is headed for a theatrical release next year on January 13.
