Titans Star Weighs In On Nightwing & Starfire Getting Back Together
Titans star Brenton Thwaites, who plays Dick Grayson/Nightwing, has discussed whether the show will see his character get together with Starfire again. One of the biggest DC TV shows outside The CW is Titans, a gritty live-action adaptation of the Teen Titans property. Starting out on DC Universe in 2018, Titans follows the adventures of the former Boy Wonder as Dick leaves his days as Robin behind and forms a team of young heroes while also becoming Nightwing. Following the DC-branded streaming service's retooling, Titans became an HBO Max exclusive for season 3 and beyond.
Following a jam-packed season 3 finale, the highly anticipated Titans season 4 is on its way and filming is currently ongoing in Toronto, Canada. While no premiere date has been set yet, the HBO Max drama is expected to return sometime in late spring/early summer, similar to season 3. Unlike past seasons, Titans season 4 will have 12 episodes rather than the usual 13. With most plot details being kept under wraps, there are still bits of information coming to light, including some images that have seemingly teased Nightwing and Starfire revisiting a previous romantic storyline.

While Titans hasn't focused too much on Dick and Kory's love story since season 1, many wondered weather season 4 would see some progression on that front. In the latest edition of TVLine's Inside Line column, a Titans fan inquired if the outlet had any inside information on Nightwing and Starfire's storyline for the upcoming season. TVLine revealed that it had received an update on Dick and Kory's relationship future from Thwaites himself. The Australian actor explained the status of the two heroes, stating the following:
