Will The Boys season 3 introduce a ghostly new addition to its existing roster of messed-up superheroes? The Boys has already promised a curious collection of newcomers for its upcoming third season on Amazon Prime. With Jensen Ackles' Soldier Boy leading the charge, Laurie Holden is the Crimson Countess, Miles Gaston Villanueva plays Supersonic, and Wolverine parody Groundhawk is rumored to join the fun also. Groundhawk recently debuted in animated form through The Boys Presents: Diabolical, a spinoff that put the live-action series to shame in terms of twisted superheroes possessing weird and wonderful powers.
Among the very weirdest is Ghost. In The Boys: Diabolical's «An Animated Short Where Pissed Off Supes Kill Their Parents,» teenagers blessed with less-than-super powers are herded into a care home. Joining the likes of Picante Balls and Booby-Face in this facility is a young girl called Ghost, whose non-corporeal body means she can pass through walls and glide effortlessly through the air. That novelty wears off pretty quickly, since Ghost also can't be touched, can't eat, or can't hold physical objects (apart from chairs and the ground, apparently). While Ghost is only an animated creation for now, The Boys: Diabolical teases a potential live-action appearance in The Boys season 3.
