Sofia took to Instagram over the week to announce her engagement to Elliot. The pair went public last year after months of Sofia enjoying the dating scene post-Scott. Sofia and Scott called it quits in August 2020 after three years of dating. After their split, Scott dated Amelia Hamlin for less than a year before getting dumped once his leaked DM about Kourtney and Travis Barker was revealed. One month after the scandal, Kourtney accepted Travis's beachside proposal. Now six months later, Scott's other ex accepted a beachfront proposal.

Scott took to Instagram hours after Sofia announced her engagement to issue a subtle response to his exes finding love after dating him. "In the 305 just call me good luck chuck," Scott captioned a photo of himself driving a speedboat. The Good Luck Chuck reference is to the 2007 comedy film starring Dane Cook. The comedian plays the lead character Charlie, a man who realizes that all of his ex-girlfriends find true love after sleeping with him. Scott's caption appears to be in response to Kourtney and Sofia both getting engaged after leaving him for good.
