Tyler Cameron, one of the finalists on Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette, admitted that in order to appear on Saturday Night Live with Kim Kardashian, he had to skip his friend's wedding. Tyler gained a following when fans of the reality TV dating series sympathized with him over not being chosen by Hannah during the finale. Luckily for Tyler, Hannah called off her relationship with the contestant she did pick, Jed Wyatt, after learning he had a girlfriend back home and only joined the show to further his music career. After the show, Tyler and Hannah had a brief romance, but the star was also linked to supermodel Gigi Hadid and, most recently, The Hills star Kristin Cavallari.
In October, The Kardashians star Kim Kardashian hosted SNL for the first time, and along with poking fun at her former marriage with Kanye West and her sister Kourtney's relationship with Travis Barker, Kim did a skit inspired by The Bachelorette. The skit featured stars like John Cena, Jesse Williams, and comedian Chris Rock. However, as a show alum, Tyler also joined the cast as one of the lucky men fighting for Kim's love. In the skit, Kim chose Tyler second, following Gossip Girl star Chase Crawford, thanking him for being vulnerable enough to show her his "hot body." The audience seemed more enthusiastic to see Tyler in the skit than any of the well-known actors.
