Episode 3 of The Kardashians kicks into gear in New York City, where Kris Jenner and Khloé Kardashian have joined Kim Kardashian for her big night hosting Saturday Night Live for the first time. The momager and youngest Kardashian sister prepare for their cameos as the first half of the episode heavily focuses on Kim's hosting gig.
After Kim's successful night, the family's back in Los Angeles, where their focus immediately switches to Travis Barker's grandiose proposal for Kourtney Kardashian. Even Ellen Degeneres has been filled in about the special day and seems concerned about how Scott Disick will take the news because apparently everyone in Hollywood knows about his undying love for the mother of his three kids.

Episode 2 took fans into Kim's hectic SNL schedule, including rehearsals, photoshoots, costume fittings, and her visit with comedian Amy Schumer to perfect her opening monologue. The episode ended with Kris kicking her driver out of the car so she could tell Khloé the big news; Travis was planning a proposal to her older sister.
As Kim enters the final hours before taking the stage at 30 Rock for SNL, she calls Kris and Khloé into her hotel room, where Kanye West is waiting. Her ex-husband just returned from Los Angeles, where he retrieved a laptop with footage from her old tape with Ray J.
