Screen Rant has an exclusive behind-the-scenes clip from last year's highly-acclaimed film, C'mon C'mon, to celebrate its Blu-ray and Digital release today, April 12. The A24 picture, artistically presented in black-and-white, follows a radio journalist named Johnny (Joaquin Phoenix, who was recently honored with an Academy Award for The Joker) and the young nephew (played by Poldark's Woody Norman) he forms a close bond with during the course of a road trip.
C’mon C’mon had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival in September 2021, where it received a largely positive response before heading to cinemas on November 19 of the same year. Aside from the warm familial chemistry between Phoenix and Norman, the film also features crackling performances from its strong cast, including Gaby Hoffmann (Transparent), Scoot McNairy (Killing Them Softly), and Jaboukie Young-White (Big Mouth). While neither it nor A24's other heavy-hitter The Green Knight received Oscar nominations this year, both films continued to cement the entertainment company's brand of thought-provoking quality cinema.
