The Motorola RAZR stunned the world back in 2019 as a flip phone with a folding display. It was not the most practical phone to use but the RAZR 2019 looked unlike anything else. Its 2020 upgrade refined the design and internals but kept its dashing looks intact. Motorola is now coming with the third generation of the device and thanks to leak, we have a fair idea of how this would look. And right off the bat, the RAZR 3 does not look anything like its predecessors, or the RAZR flip phones of the past. It is in fact, a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 lookalike!
Based on the leak information by Evan Blass in 91Mobiles, Motorola seems to have taken the feedback and removed all the “RAZR-elements” from the phone. The result is a flip phone with a folding display that looks just like any other flip phone with a folding display. The signature RAZr chin is gone and so is the stylish earpiece notch in the inside. It looks just like a modified Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, both from outside and inside.
In the first of the two pictures, the RAZR 3 prototype is shown in the closed state, wherein the phone has a dual camera system this time. These cameras are situated on the edge this time instead of the centre. The phone also appears to have the same kind of large outer display as its predecessor but the exact dimensions are yet to be figured out. There is no chin like the previous two models, and the fingerprint sensor now appears to be located on the power key.
The second photo shows the inner display, which gets rid of the notch style earpiece and camera holder. Instead, the display now has a punch-hole cutout for the front camera similar to the Samsung Galaxy z Flip 3. The top bezels is thicker than the Samsung equivalent, and the side bezels
