As The Flash star Ezra Miller's string of very public bad behavior continues to unfold, Warner Bros. is rumored to be making some major changes. Allegedly, a series that would have featured Miller's Scarlet Speedster has been axed due to the actor's antics.
DC Universe fans have been calling for Warner Bros. to recast the role of The Flash following Miller's multiple assault charges and the recent allegations that they groomed and abused a young girl. However, with the upcoming The Flashstandalone film already shot and its theatrical debut date set, Warner Bros. seems to be in a tough spot in regard to recasting the starring role, but Miller might not play the character moving forward.

Lucifer actress Caroline Kwanrecently revealed via Twitter that a close friend of hers had been attached to an eight-episode project that was in the works that was supposed to include Miller. However, following all the controversy around The Flash star, the developing project was scrapped. It’s been assumed that this project was supposed to be an HBO Max series and that Miller was likely to appear in a supporting role alongside some other DC Universe characters. Kwan has since deleted the tweet she made about Miller, where she referred to the actor as a “nightmare."
With the release date for the upcoming Flash film set for June 2023, it seems that all this controversy might make the film's theatrical debut a nightmare for Warner Bros.
