The upcoming Grand Theft Auto Online update will finally address the long-standing issue players have faced with the MMO’s flying Oppressor Mk II vehicles. Earlier this week, Rockstar announced its latest Grand Theft Auto Online expansion, The Criminal Enterprises. This collection of new missions and other content will feature a storyline centered around climbing gas prices and record-breaking heatwaves, introducing new ways for aspiring criminals to make money in the untamed open world of Los Santos — including transporting illicit goods and customizing supped-up motorcycles for paying customers.
One Grand Theft Auto Online vehicle many players agree doesn’t need any extra enhancements is the Oppressor Mk II, a jet-powered flying motorcycle introduced to the game in 2018. It can fly at roughly 11 mph and is much more maneuverable in comparison to other air-based GTA Online vehicles — and the Oppressor Mk II can be equipped with machine guns, explosive Gatling gun rounds, and homing missiles to help inflict carnage on any rival criminals in the driver’s path. While these attributes make the Oppressor Mk II a popular choice for players looking to launch surprise attacks in Grand Theft Auto Online, many feel the jet-powered vehicle is a little too fast and powerful, leading to several online petitions urging Rockstar to downgrade the vehicle.
