Motorola has launched three new smartphones as a part of its Motorola Edge 20 series and these devices are a part of its premium Edge brand. The new Motorola Edge 20 series comprises of the Motorola Edge 20 Pro, the Motorola Edge 20, and the Motorola Edge 20 Lite. All these three smartphones come with 5G connectivity and are available for purchase in Europe by the end of August. As the names suggest, the Motorola Edge 20 Pro is the flagship offering, while the Motorola Edge 20 and the Motorola Edge 20 Lite are the mid-rangers.
The Motorola Edge 20 Pro is the top-of-the-line device and comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 under the hood. There is a 6.7-inch full HD 10-bit OLED screen that supports Amazon HDR. The display comes with a refresh rate of 144Hz. The Motorola Edge 20 Pro comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. There is a 4,500mAh battery on the Motorola Edge 20 Pro that supports fast-charging up to 30W. The Motorola Edge 20 has a 108MP primary shooter on the back with an 8MP 5x zoom secondary shooter, a 16MP ultra-wide lens, and a macro camera. For security, there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Motorola Edge 20 sits in the middle of the pack and comes with the same four cameras on the back as the Pro variant, but with a slightly “downgraded” telephoto lens. It has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC but it had pretty much the same other features as the Pro. The battery on the Motorola Edge 20 is 4,000mAh as compared to the 4,500mAh on the Motorola Edge 20 Pro.
The Motorola Edge 20 Lite is the cheapest offering in the series and this smartphone comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 720 instead of a Qualcomm chipset. As compared to the other two models, it also does not have an ultra-wide camera but all other
