Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2’s second season is officially underway with a brand Operation, “Termination”, Lethal difficulty, a new weapon and more. Check out the latest trailer showcasing the new threat the Space Marines must face.
Termination sees players returning to Kadaku to take down the Hierophant Bio-Titan with heavy artillery. As the largest Tyranid enemy in the game, it poses quite a threat, but you can up the challenge even more with Lethal difficulty. When enabled, the amount of ammo refilled per player is limited, and Armor only replenishes when performing finishers near teammates.
Furthermore, Majoris enemies can enter an enraged state, becoming tougher and dealing more damage. Succeed, however, and you can earn new cosmetics. The update also adds Photo Mode for Operations (only available solo), buffs charged attack perks for the Chainsword, Power Fist and Combat Knife, and much more. Check out some of the patch notes below and full details here.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It recently hit a new milestone of 4.5 million players. Check out our review, where we gave it a nine out of ten.

Note from the devs:
“With Patch 3 we have noticed that Operations mode became noticeably easier, especially Chaos operations. We are happier with what we have right now compared to what we had on release, because before Patch 3 Chaos missions were unpopular. Still, we think that currently Operations mode is a bit too easy.
Overall these changes are going to make Operations mode harder, but it is difficult to measure by how much. We will continue to monitor those changes and will continue to adjust the balance of Operations mode. This is not the last change.”
