Warframe continues to grow in popularity, with each expansion providing more open-world content and cinematic story events. At Summer Game Fest 2022, Digital Extremes revealed a different trailer for the upcoming Duviri Paradox expansion, with more to come at Tennocon 2022 on July 16. While little is shown in the new trailer, an unseen narrator promises that new dangers, threats, and choices lie ahead.
Warframe's previous expansions and microtransactions continue to support the title and grow its fanbase. In 2019, s detailed trailer for the Duviri Paradox, initially called the «Planes of Duviri,» began to provide context for this massive expansion, with the new 2022 trailer highlighting some key elements. To understand the Duviri Paradox, players must have a baseline understanding of what has been advertised previously, along with some ongoing story elements.

The 2019 trailer for The Duviri Paradox revealed a nearly monochromatic alien world with a lone figure wearing a Zariman suit traversing the landscape. Soon, an Orokin voidwyrm appears, knocking the figure over to reveal a featureless mask. In the distance, The Zariman Ten Zero is buried in the ground like lost ruin. Further along, a second figure, perhaps a Dax, rides a horse-like creature and charges the masked protagonist.
The mask wearer survives as they're soon seen riding the same horse creature, twirling a shotgun onto their back as they ride toward the the Zariman Ten Zero, an Orokin colony ship that vanished into the Void during a Void-Jump. The accidental jump also gave this ship's inhabitants mysterious powers from the Void, who later became the Tenno that control Warframes.
