Former Paradox Interactive CEO Ebba Ljungerud has been brought onto the board at Nordisk Games.
In a post on its website, the company wrote that in this new role, Ljungerud would be helping find new investment opportunities and bolstering its current partnerships.
“The Nordisk Games team has built a really unique portfolio of artistic and creative studios, so I’m really excited to begin working alongside them," she said.
"The company also puts a lot of focus on delivering real strategic support, giving partner studios the tools to create the best games possible. I’m looking forward to being able to contribute to their continued success, and make some great games along the way.
“I am excited to work with computer games which is both art and culture to me, and something that gamers chose to spend time and money on. That Nordisk Games has invested in, and helps supporting the development of, so many different games and studios just makes it extra fun."
Nordisk Games' chair Allan Mathson Hansen added: “I’m thrilled that Ebba has joined the Board of Directors. We have ambitious growth and development plans going forward, and I’m certain her experience and knowledge of the games industry will play a vital part in this in the years to come."
Ljungerud took on the CEO role back in 2018 before leaving in 2021 for "differing views on company strategy".
