Juventus will be reappearing in FIFA 23 now that its publisher, EA, has reacquired the licensing rights from a longstanding rival, eFootball creator Konami. The team hasn’t been featured in a FIFA game since 2019 when Konami announced an exclusive partnership with Juventus, much to the surprise of players. EA has been featuring the fake team Piemonte Calcio instead of Juventus for the better part of the past four years.
The news comes directly from EA which announced an "exclusive multi-year partnership" granting the publisher all of the rights to the logos and kits belonging to Juventus. The partnership also includes the licensing rights to the stadium, Allianz Arena. “EA and Juventus, one of the biggest and most successful Italian football clubs in the world, today announced a new, multi-year partnership which will see Juventus return to EA Sports’ renowned football video game series beginning in FIFA 23,” the company said in a statement on July 25, 2022.

“This partnership will see EA Sports become Juventus’ exclusive Sport Video Gaming Partner with a fully authentic in-game integration that will feature Juventus’ stadium, Allianz Stadium, along with the club’s logo and kits,” the company remarked. “Both partners are also excited to work across a number of lifestyle and cultural initiatives bringing new opportunities outside of football.”
EA also announced that player Claudio Marchisio is going to be making an appearance in FIFA 23 as a Hero Card for FIFA Ultimate Team. Marchisio currently holds no less than seven Serie A titles. “As well as the club partnership, former footballer Claudio Marchisio will join as a FIFA Ultimate Team Hero.”
