Instead of paying the once-standard $59.99, we have to dig into our wallets a little more and fetch out $69.99. So, if you’re looking to save some money and keep your bank accounts for hitting the red, knowing what games to pick up at launch and what titles to keep on the back burner is crucial. Fortunately, there are plenty of sale events to partake in.
You can find sales for digital storefronts rather regularly. For instance, Steam is one of the most popular digital storefronts for PC gaming, and they typically hold several sales throughout the year. You’re likely well familiar with the seasonal sales that happen throughout the year, but there are also fests and themed sales as well. While we don’t have a complete rundown just yet on the entire year schedule for 2024 when it comes to sales, Valve did open up on some of the sales you can expect.
Announced through the Steam Community page, Valve highlighted some of the events set. Again, this is not the full rundown of everything that is featured for 2024, but it’s a close look at some of the dates you can mark down. Likewise, the post further clarifies that there are Fests, which will be themed sale events that spotlight a specific category of games. Furthermore, there are the Next Fest’s, which are events that feature demos, sales, and developer highlights.
