Survival games usually include countless materials for players to collect along the way and Iron Gate AB's early access title Valheim has ingredients that evolve as players move from the Stone Age to Bronze Age and further. One Valheim player has discovered a unique trick for mining silver efficiently that can be replicated once fans have reached the Iron Age.
Reddit user 1b3ty0uc4nr34dth1s recently posted a clip from their adventure of Valheim in which they have climbed a Mountain biome to locate a Silver vein. Valheim players aren't able to mine silver with the Antler or Bronze pickaxe and given that 1b3ty0uc4nr34dth1s is able to mine it, they have defeated the game's first few bosses to reach the Iron Age. In order to climb Mountain biomes, Valheim players will also need to wear appropriate clothing just as 1b3ty0uc4nr34dth1s is donning the Padded Armor.
Valheim Clip Shows a Troll Battling an Abomination in the Swamp
1b3ty0uc4nr34dth1s' clip begins with the Valheim player having already chipped away a large chunk of the Silver ore they reflect their quick mining technique using. A floating shape is cut out of the rock by methodically removing Silver from below and around what resembles a fidget spinner which is an ideal formation based on 1b3ty0uc4nr34dth1s' easy mining style. Showing the rock formation from different angles to show what it looks like, 1b3ty0uc4nr34dth1s carefully stands in the middle of the remaining Silver before swinging their pickaxe twice to destroy the entirety of what's left.
There are only a few resources that can be mined similar to how 1b3ty0uc4nr34dth1s destroys the Silver vein in their video because of the size required to chip out a floating shape, but it may work in base building as well.
