It has been over ten years since the release of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, but fans continue to play it to this day. Skyrim probably gets a new set of fans every time Bethesda re-releases the game, and there are even rumors of Skyrim Anniversary Edition coming to the Nintendo Switch.
The extensive mods have probably contributed to its popularity over the years, as they allow players to completely change and customize their gameplay experience. Users can change just about anything with the help of mods, with one fan transforming Skyrim to make it look like real life. In addition to a graphics overhaul, fans can implement more subtle changes that make the world more immersive. However, one Skyrim player decided to use mods to showcase the ridiculousness that can happen on screen.
Skyrim Player Makes House Out of Cheese
A user named Not_COPPA_FTCA has uploaded a clip of a heavily modded intro to The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. For those not in the know, the main character is about to be executed in the game’s opening sequence, along with some characters key to the story. However, a dragon attack interrupts their execution, allowing players to flee Helgen and reach a small town called Riverwood.
It opens with the main character looking at a Stormtrooper from the Star Wars universe, but that’s probably the least unusual thing in the clip. Alduin appears on time to attack Helgen, but Not_COPPA_FTCA uses a mod that replaces dragons with Macho Man Randy Savage. Instead of being intimidating and scary, Randy Savage shouts with excitement as the Stormtroopers try to hilariously fight with a bow and arrow.
