Unusable OP Sword “Bloodthirst Blade” Discovered - Season of Discovery
Season of Discovery keeps bringing surprises, and this time it’s in the form of an unusable, but truly OP sword: the Bloodthirst Blade.
Players have recently been on the warpath trying to take down Kha'damu, the wandering World Boss that spawns during the Blood Moon PvP event in Stranglethorn Vale. Content creator Sarthe was able to put a group together to actually take him down, and they were in for a surprise when this Epic sword dropped.
Although “dropped” might be an exaggeration. Aside from the fact that the sword requires level 125 to use and has the Unique: (0) property, it wasn’t actually lootable — no one in the group was able to pick it up.
Aside from a collection of potions and some Massive Mojo, it seems this wandering World Boss is too attached to his treasure to let it go. Just like the Chance on Hit for Bloodthirst Blade, perhaps his promised soul was claimed?
What might this hint at for the future? Is there more to learn about the promised soul, or was this simply a fun gag played by the developers? Time will tell, and in the meantime you can check out another of our speculative articles:
