Netflix has released the official trailer for the next installment to its long-running documentary series. This comes after more than a year since the revival debuted its 9-episode third installment.
“The iconic and gripping series returns featuring more unexplained deaths, baffling disappearances, and bizarre paranormal activity,” reads the logline.

Unsolved Mysteries Vol. 4 will officially be available to streaming on Wednesday, July 31 with five new episodes. The series is executive produced by Shawn Levy and Terry Dunn Meurer, with Skye Borgman, Gabe Torres, and Robert M. Wise serving as directors. It is a production by Cosgrove/Meurer Productions and 21 Laps Entertainment.
“UNSOLVED MYSTERIES continues to resonate with viewers in ways we could never have imagined, with some episodes leading to solving cases that were once thought unsolvable,” Levy said in a statement. “It is a privilege to collaborate with Terry Dunn Meurer and her team on this iconic franchise, and we are so excited to share this next installment of compelling and fascinating mysteries with viewers around the world.”
The series originally ran on NBC between 1987 and 1997 hosted by Robert Stack. After it was canceled, the series ran on CBS for two years, followed by a few new episodes in 2001-2002 on Lifetime. Spike then picked it up between 2008-2010, with new host Dennis Farina. Unsolved Mysteries ran for over 500 episodes between 1987 and 2010.
