The preview version of Unreal Engine 5.3 is now available for download, allowing users to experience some of the new features and improvements the new version of the engine brings.
The new version of the engine, which can be downloaded from GitHub, comes with Lumen, Nanite, and Path Tracing improvements. These improvements not only allow for better visual results but also for improved performance control, so they should be less taxing on a variety of system configurations. Additionally, this new version of the engine also brings improved cloth tooling with the Panel Cloth Editor and ML Cloth. Unreal Engine 5.3 also brings plenty of new features, such as Orthographic Rendering, Volumetric Rendering, and a Skeletal Editor, which allows for in-engine editing of weight and skinning.

Earlier this week, another game powered by the engine, Remnant II, was also released on PC and consoles, but it isn't as good a showcase as the horror game by Bloober Team, as the game by Gunfire Games suffers from some performance issues, especially on consoles.
