Uncle Owen only calls Obi-Wan "Ben" in a new Obi-Wan Kenobi show clip. The upcoming Disney+ series is the next on deck in Lucasfilm's Star Wars TV lineup, which will see a number of new titles debut on the streaming service over the next couple of years. After originally being scheduled to coincide with the 45th anniversary of A New Hope's theatrical release, the Obi-Wan Kenobi release date is now slated for Friday, May 27.
The series marks the long-awaited return of Ewan McGregor to the role of Obi-Wan, which he played throughout the prequel trilogy, though he is not the only familiar face. Hayden Christensen is set to play a full-fledged Darth Vader after having been the older Anakin Skywalker, and Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse reprise their roles as Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru Lars, respectively. While the latter two had only minor roles in the Star Wars prequel trilogy movies, Edgerton has since become a very respected actor in both film and TV, leading many to speculate that he'll be used a bit more frequently this time around.

Edgerton's character takes exception to the Jedi asking after Luke, accusing him of only being interested in his potential Force abilities. And, while it is certainly part of maintaining Obi-Wan's cover, the way Owen calls him "Ben" seems to reflect the lack of respect he has for McGregor's character. Check out the clip below:
