Currently, Traveller's Tales is working on the next game in its LEGO franchise, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. It will bring together the entire Skywalker Saga into one game, with nine different movies all being recreated with LEGOs. The game will serve as the definitive Star Wars experience and will bring with it some of the biggest changes to the LEGO formula. After it hits store shelves, Traveller's Tales will be looking to what comes next, and it should consider making a sequel to LEGO Jurassic World.
LEGO Jurassic World launched in 2015 alongside the first Jurassic World film. It adapted the Jurassic Park trilogy and the first Jurassic World movie in fun-filled LEGO fashion. However, since its release, there has beentwo more Jurassic World movies, one of which is releasing this June, as well as a short film and a four-season long Netflix show. That is hours of Jurassic Park content that has not yet received a LEGO adaptation, and Traveller's Tales should rectify that.
LEGO Universe Deserves a Revival
LEGO Jurassic World released in 2015 and brought players to fully explorable LEGO versions of Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna. They are able to explore both the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World versions of Isla Nublar. They would then play through 20 different levels based on the Jurassic Park trilogy and the first Jurassic World film, and each movie had five levels associated with it. As they progressed through the story, gamers would unlock iconic characters like Ian Malcom, Owen Grady, and Dr. Alan Grant as well as the real-life directors Colin Trevorrow and Steven Spielberg.
