Jurassic Park's original cast Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum reflect on filming Steven Spielberg's movie in a video for the new film, Jurassic World Dominion. The original 1993 film was based on Michael Crichton's novel of the same name revolving around a billionaire who attempts to open a theme park full of genetically recreated dinosaurs, which subsequently break loose and put all in the vicinity in danger. Neill led the cast ofJurassic Park as paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant alongside Dern as paleobotanist and Grant's romantic partner Dr. Ellie Sadler and Goldblum as chaos theory mathematician Dr. Ian Malcolm.
The three have reprised their roles in various standings as the Jurassic Park franchise has continued over the years, with Goldblum leading its first sequel The Lost World while Neill would return as the lead of Jurassic Park III in a minor role as a close friend of Grant. Goldblum would be the second original Jurassic Park actor to return for Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World after B.D. Wong reprised his role of Dr. Henry Wu in the trilogy launcher, with the Ian Malcolm star holding a brief appearance in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The four actors are all returning for another proper round of dino action with Jurassic World Dominion this summer and now they are looking back on their time with the franchise.
