Natasha Lyonne reveals that she has ideas for Russian Doll season 3. First released in 2019, Russian Doll was a hit with both audiences and critics. The mind-bending comedy/ drama show stars Lyonne as a New Yorker who finds herself stuck in a time loop, constantly reliving the same birthday party over and over. Russian Doll's first season earned the show two Emmy wins, including Outstanding Comedy Series and Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
Russian Doll season 2 landed on Netflix earlier this week, earning similarly rave reviews from critics and once more catching up with Lyonne's Nadia. This time around, instead of a time loop, Nadia finds herself transported back in time to 1982 and trapped inside the body of her mother, who happens to be pregnant with Nadia. While the show has earned positive reviews, there's no word yet on whether Russian Doll season 3 will happen. In addition to Lyonne, the show stars Alan Zaveri, Greta Lee, Elizabeth Ashley, Annie Murphy, Carolyn Michelle Smith, and Sharlto Copley.
