Game developer Aspyr has launched Tomb Raider I-III Remastered update 1.02, fixing one of the trilogy’s most frustrating issues. Available to download now, the latest patch includes a handful of improvements for all three games as well as some of the bonus content.
When playing Tomb Raider, keys will now be more visible. In our review playthrough, we found it all too easy to walk past keys and other important objects due to them being very hard to spot, especially when switching between modern and classic visual modes.
Tomb Raider I-III Remastered launched last month on all major platforms including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. In our review, we scored the trilogy a 6/10.
When will we hear about the next Tomb Raider game? Things have gone a little quiet since developer Crystal Dynamics wrapped their gritty Lara Croft reboot trilogy though we do know that Amazon will support the development of her next adventure and that it will be running on Unreal Engine 5. Codenamed Tomb Raider Next, it will sport a new design for the character though we’re still awaiting details on the game itself and what platforms it will be coming to. Hopefully we’ll learn more in 2024.
