Today's answer could ruin some long-standing win streaks. The answer itself isn't overly difficult or obscure, but it does utilize some classic strategies that increase the difficulty of an answer just a bit.

For those who prefer a more difficult version of there is the Hard Mode that can be accessed through the options menu before starting any daily game. This will force players into using previous hints and not allow just random word combinations to be used. This can actually help make the game easier since there is much less of a chance to have any wasted guesses.

Before fully spoiling today's answer we wanted to provide a few hints to help out those who just need a little push in the right direction.

This one almost got us, as you can see above we managed to get it right at the end of our guesses. To begin we used the starting word POUND. This locked in a single 'O' in it's correct location and gave us a chunk of incorrect letters. Our second attempt was COWER which only provided more incorrect letters. Moving forward we thought there was a double 'O' possibility so we tried BOOKS, this proved fruitless, but did squash a few more letters.

Our fourth guess was GOING, we needed to see if 'I' was the missing vowel we needed, it was not and the pressure was on. Our fifth guess was FOLLY, this opened up a lot more answers and gave us the double 'L' and a 'Y', all misplaced. Luckily with the misplacements, it
