Start your journey in September off on the right foot. Today's puzzle has a couple of confusing categories and you will likely need some help to get them right. Hopefully, with a few tips and hints, you will be able to get the win and set a trend for the rest of the month.
If you like you will likely also find the NYT puzzle quite satisfying. We find it a great way to wind down after a long day with just enough challenge to keep you engaged. Connect the lines to make an aesthetic, pastel picture as you go. There are many different daily puzzles, but this one is one that we find the most relaxing.
Four categories with four words each sounds simple, but the daily challenge of the Connections game can prove difficult without a few tips to help.
If you are looking to just get a bit of help and go on your way, you can look at the following hints to get some clues about the categories you are facing today:
COOK IN A PAN
PARTS OF THE EAR
SHADES OF BLACK
WHERE YOU MIGHT FIND «A DRIVER»
COOK IN A PAN
BROWN
CHAR
GRILL
SEAR
This one was the easiest and fastest for me to guess today. Seeing CHAR and GRILL is what clued me into the cooking theme, and it was not much longer before I added SEAR in. Deciding on what the last one would be was more of a guess between CHARCOAL and BROWN, but luckily I was able to guess right.
The presence of CHARCOAL did trip me up for a quick second as I thought it more had to do with the parts of a grill, but I corrected fast.
PARTS OF THE EAR
ANVIL
CANAL
DRUM
HAMMER
This is one of the two trickier categories today, at least in my opinion. Perhaps if I knew more about my ear anatomy I would have guessed this faster, but the fact that there are two very clear «tool» words and a TOOLBOX in the purple category later, it did throw me off my game. This was the third category I had to guess and unfortunately, it threw me off enough to not get the win.
Today’s Wordle answer will be difficult to solve unless players use hints to guide
