TikTok Has Banned Hasan Piker
The growing social media platform TikTok has banned popular Twitch streamer Hasan Piker as the result of «celebrating» the recent death of Queen Elizabeth II. Although he was busy participating in events during the QTCinderella content creator gathering, Piker was able to get a clip of himself reacting to the news, which caused his aforementioned TikTok ban.
The death of Queen Elizabeth II was a tragic event mourned by millions in countries around the world on September 8, and it caused many content creators to make statements, like many other public figures, expressing condolences and sorrow for the loss. Her death came during the big QTCinderella content creator event in which the occasionally controversial Twitch streamer Hasan Piker was competing in a paintball game with another broadcaster named Zoil. The two Twitch streamers talked about the Queen's passing back and forth, which ushered some questionable comments from Hasan Piker that resulted in his swift TikTok ban.

Both Hasan Piker and his editor known on Twitter as Ostonox confirmed with his audience why he had been removed from TikTok, stating that it was from one of the clips filmed and uploaded during the event hosted by Twitch's QTCinderella. In the video, Piker confirmed that he'd like to livestream his reaction to Queen Elizabeth II's death with his audience rather than playing paintball because she's a «relic of the monarchy» and when the news of her passing eventually came, he began cheering. After more controversial comments about the historic event, Piker pretended to smoke while saying «smoking on the Queen pack» which he offered to Zoil, who said, «that's my Queen,» and appeared troubled.
